Chamber Opens Nominations for 2027 Board of Directors

Sullivan County, NY, September 25, 2026 – The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its 2027 Board of Directors, serving a three-year term from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029.

The Chamber is seeking business and community leaders who want to help shape the organization’s direction, strengthen the local business community, and advance its mission of strengthening the community by advancing a vibrant, sustainable local economy.

Board members help guide Chamber strategy, support programs and initiatives, advocate for businesses, build connections, and serve as ambassadors for the organization.

Candidates must be Chamber members in good standing and be willing to actively participate in Board meetings, programs, events, committees, and other Chamber initiatives. Board meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month.

Nominations may be submitted by Chamber members, current Board members, or through self-nomination. Nominees must approve their nomination and submit a nomination form, professional background or resume, community involvement and leadership experience, and a statement of interest.

Meet-the-Candidates Mixer: October 15, 2026, The Quiet Saint, Grahamsville
Member Voting Closes: October 31, 2026

2027 Board Announced: November 12, 2026, at the Your Partner for Success 2026 Annual Awards Gala
