THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ONCE PULLS AUDIENCE’S HEARTSTRINGS AT FORESTBURGH PLAYHOUSE SEPTEMBER 8 – SEPTEMBER 13

Forestburgh, NY – Once, the heartfelt love story powered by the magic of music, opens at the Forestburgh Playhouse on September 8 and runs through September 13. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 8PM, Wednesday at 2PM, and Sunday at 3PM.  Due to popular demand, the Playhouse is adding an additional performance Saturday at 2PM! 

Once tells the captivating story of a Dublin street musician ready to give up on his dreams—until a spirited young woman takes a sudden interest in his soulful songs. An unexpected friendship becomes a life-changing connection that inspires them both. Featuring the Academy Award–winning hit “Falling Slowly,” this touching and beautifully performed musical celebrates love, hope, and the power of music to bring people together.

Directed and Choreographed by Trey Compton and with musical direction by Julia Hoffmann and Matthew Nassida, this production promises to leave you moved, inspired, and humming long after the final note.
