Paul Ciliberto Expands "Ciliberto & Friends" with New Afternoon Show on Thunder 102

Monticello, NY, July 14, 2026 – Bold Gold Media is announcing an expansion of the popular local radio show Ciliberto & Friends hosted by veteran broadcaster Paul Ciliberto, with the launch of Ciliberto & Friends in the Afternoon, now on weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thunder 102.

The new afternoon show marks Ciliberto's return to Thunder 102, where he helped build one of the region's most recognizable radio brands. He will continue hosting Ciliberto & Friends in the Morning weekdays from 7 to 9 a.m. on Catskills News Talk 92.5 & 94.9, giving listeners the opportunity to start and end their day with the familiar voice they have trusted for decades.

The afternoon program will deliver the same community-focused approach that has defined Ciliberto's career, blending country music with local news, events, interviews, and conversations that matter to listeners throughout Sullivan County and the Catskills, Delaware County, and the Pocono Lake Region of Pennsylvania.

His morning show on Catskills News Talk has become a daily destination for conversations with local elected officials, business leaders, nonprofit organizations, and nationally recognized guests including Carlos Santana, Kevin Costner, and Marlo Thomas.

Ciliberto has been in radio broadcasting for 50 years, with over 20 of them in Thunder Country. During his original 18-year run on Thunder 102, Ciliberto & Friends became the longest-running live radio show in Sullivan County history. Three years ago, as the program evolved toward a news-talk format, it moved to Catskills News Talk, where it has continued to grow.

Throughout his career, Ciliberto has been recognized with numerous honors, including the SYDA Community Service Award, the Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellowship, Hudson Valley Radio Personality of the Year, multiple River Reporter "Best Of" awards, and recognition as a finalist for the Country Music Association Small Market Personality of the Year.
