Liberty Public Library presents "Classical Guitarist Peter Fletcher: Music of the Four Centuries” on Thursday, May 14th @ 6 PM

Classical Guitarist Peter Fletcher makes his debut performance at the Liberty Public Library on Thursday, May 14th at 6 PM. Offering an audience friendly, solo one-hour recital, Fletcher will include repertoire from the Renaissance Period through the 20th century. The program features works from Bach, Handel, Spanish composers Francisco Tarrega and Fernando Sor, amongst others.

Fletcher studied at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY and made his New York City Carnegie Hall debut in 2007. Along with touring nationally, he also has recorded a number of albums, including the recent Peter Fletcher In Concert. American Record Guide has called his playing “excellent -- joyous, charming, delicate, exciting, as fits each piece.”

Fletcher divides his time between Detroit and New York City. For more information about Fletcher, visit him at www.peterfletcher.com
