Garnet Health to Host FREE Colon Cancer Awareness Health Fair 

MIDDLETOWN, NY (March 12, 2026) — Garnet Health will host a free community health fair in recognition of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Resorts World Catskills (888 Resorts World Drive, Monticello, NY 12701). The event is designed to educate community members about the importance of colon health and early detection.

A special presentation will be led by Vanessa A. Hortian, DO, MS, LAc, CHSE, Colon and Rectal Surgeon, and Nadia Bhuiyan, DO, General Surgery, who will share expert insight on colon cancer prevention, screening and treatment. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions during the session.

In addition to the presentations, the health fair will feature a variety of interactive and educational offerings:

• Inflatable walk-through colon experience
• Chair yoga
• Colon cancer education
• Free blood pressure screenings
• Nutrition education
