Continues to Win Awards

Monticello, NY – For the 35^th consecutive time, the Sullivan County Treasurer’s Office has been accorded the Financial Reporting Achievement Award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The County also received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the GFOA.

The award was given after an impartial panel of judges determined the County’s 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) met GFOA’s high standards, including demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” in communicating financial details and motivating people to read it. “My team and I are thrilled we won this award again, carrying on a long and proud tradition in the Sullivan County Treasurer’s Office,” said County Treasurer Kathleen Lara. “Credit must go to my staff, led by Senior Fiscal Administrative Officer Shannan Armbrust, under whom this achievement was realized.”
