[HURLEYVILLE, NY] - Come out and celebrate the spooky October nights at the 4th annual HO&WL Haunted Trail Walk on Friday, October 24th at 5:30PM on the Hurleyville segment of the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail, meeting at the trailhead located at 212 Main Street, Hurleyville, NY 12747. Wear your best costume and bring your friends, family, and your leashed dog. A costume contest will be held this year with photos posted on Facebook for voting after the event. A prize will be awarded to two winners with the most votes: one human and one dog.
“The HO&WL is an excellent opportunity to explore the Hurleyville section of the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail, meet other trail users and get you, your dog and your family out for a fun autumn evening walk,” says Shannon Cilento of Sullivan 180, a member of the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail Alliance.
A reminder to please bring a flashlight and supplies to clean up after your pup. Visit the Rail Trail’s Facebook event page at www.facebook.com/sullivanoandw/events or call (845) 807-0527 for more information on this years HO&WL.
