HVRC's 5-Year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy DRAFT has been Released for Public Comment

The DRAFT of the Mid-Hudson 2025-2029 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the Region has been released.  HVRC received funding from the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) through their Partnership Planning Program for the preparation of this plan. The plan is intended to help align thinking on key issues for the Region, and to find and justify EDA investments in clusters of industries, infrastructure, resilience, and other economic initiatives going forward.

As is required by the EDA, the DRAFT CEDS has been made available for public comment.  Please submit your comments by 12 PM on August 1, 2025, to both Executive Director Carla Castillo at ccastillo@hudsonvalleyrc.org and Economic Resilience Coordinator Caleb Fine at cfine@hudsonvalleyrc.org.  We ask that your subject line include "5-Year CEDS Report: Public Comment" for easier internal reference.

HVRC will report on the findings and proposed action plan through Zoom on Monday, July 21 at 12 PM.  You can register here.

Thank you in advance for your input. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
