Attention Middletown and Town of Wallkill Residents
Attention Middletown and Town of Wallkill Residents
New York State returns an astounding $1.5 million to its residents every day through the Office of the New York State Comptroller. On Monday, June 2nd at 10:00 am, City of Middletown and Town of Wallkill residents in Assembly District 100 will have a unique opportunity to reclaim their share at an upcoming event hosted jointly by my office and the New York State Comptroller’s Office. Middletown Mayor Joe DeStefano has kindly offered us space in City Hall to host the event. Collaborating directly with the New York State Office of Unclaimed Funds (OUF), we have identified individuals in the district who have unclaimed funds available.
The OUF regularly holds events across the State, dedicated to reuniting New Yorkers with their rightful property. Attending this event will provide valuable, in-person guidance on the claims process and offer crucial information on how to safeguard your assets, preventing them from being turned over to the State as abandoned property in the future.
Our event begins at 10AM. While you are here, look for the many recent improvements to the downtown area. Many new businesses have opened, and the parks have been refreshed. What a great opportunity to enjoy our City before the summer heat!
Sincerely,
Paula Elaine Kay
