OVER $80,000 RAISED AT THE 46TH ANNUAL 98.3 WSUL HEART-A-THON

The 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon celebrated a historic 46th year on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 6A-6P at Resorts World Catskills and broadcast live on 98.3 WSUL.

“Dollar by dollar this generous community helped us raise over $80,000 for the prevention, education, and treatment of heart disease in Sullivan County.  At the heart of it all has been this local radio station.  For over four and half decades it has been a unifying force, bringing the entire community together, across all walks of life, for this wonderful cause.  The 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon has been Sullivan County’s longest running and most successful community event because of the hard work and support of 20 local committee members, 40 sponsors, 150 Heart Card Locations, and the best team in local radio”, said Dawn Ciorciari, General Manager Bold Gold Media NY Region.

This radio-thon has raised over $3 Million dollars to date locally in the fight against heart disease.  98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon proceeds are collected by the Bold Gold Fund managed by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Counties and will be distributed to Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills, Sullivan 180, A Single Bite, and Steam Fund.

Pledges are still being accepted at WSUL.com.
