January 3, 2025 – As we step into 2025, the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is embracing the new year with renewed energy and a commitment to listening, growing, and serving our valued members. Based on feedback from our recent 2024 Year-End Survey, we are excited to announce new opportunities and initiatives designed to meet the evolving needs of our business community. We asked, and you answered—this is your Chamber, and we’re here to make it work for you!
 
A Year of New Possibilities and Member-Centric Growth
Our recent survey results have provided us with critical insights into what our members value most and where we have room for growth. One of the top areas of success for the Chamber has been our networking opportunities, with 92% of members citing it as a key benefit. Based on this, we will continue to prioritize connecting local businesses and professionals. At the same time, we will be expanding our offerings to address additional needs voiced by you.

  • Membership Picnic: A family-friendly event where we can all come together and celebrate the local business community.

  • HR Do’s and Don’ts: Essential information to navigate the complex world of human resources.
  • Navigating Taxes: Get tips on understanding tax implications for your business.
  • Leadership Skills: Training on team management, conflict resolution, and decision-making to enhance leadership abilities.

Grant Opportunities: We will be offering new avenues to access grant funding, providing your business with the potential for additional support and growth.
 
Strengthening Our Network
Did you know that the Chamber can only work with other Chamber members? This unique structure makes it even more important for us to grow our network so we can continue collaborating, supporting, and expanding the opportunities available to you. We encourage all of our members to invite other local businesses to join us. The more we grow together, the stronger our community becomes!

The overarching theme from the survey was the desire for better communication between the Chamber and our members. We hear you loud and clear! As we kick off 2025, we are prioritizing transparency, regular updates, and enhanced communication tools.
