Thorn Preserve Invasive Pull and Native Planting
Join Catskill Center staff to help prepare the preserve for a native replanting effort of over 800 trees and shrubs! We will be pulling and discussing best management practices for a wide variety of common invasive plants such as Japanese knotweed, Japanese barberry, Eurasian bittersweet and more! The Catskill Center will provide tools and work gloves along with water and snacks. You are welcome to bring your own tools and gloves (don't forget to label them!). Dress for the weather and digging in the dirt!
