SUNY SULLIVAN HOSTS CAREER & JOB FAIR
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27
Open to Students and Public, Participants will Include Employers from Across Sullivan County Region
Loch Sheldrake, NY — The SUNY Sullivan Career Center is hosting a Career & Job Fair on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. The Career & Job Fair is open to students and the public, and organizers are inviting some of the largest local and regional employers to participate. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring their resumes. The Career & Job Fair takes place from 10 am–1 pm in the E Lobby on the SUNY Sullivan campus.
"There is a labor shortage in the county,” says Career Development and Transfer Advisor Klu Padu, “and this event will provide unparalleled networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect directly with representatives from diverse industries and companies."
Major employers from throughout the region will be in attendance, including Garnet Health, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Bethel Woods, Legoland, Jeff Bank, the Arc Greater Hudson Valley, the Center for Discovery, and St. Lawrence Health. If participants are unable to bring a resume, they will have the opportunity to work with the college’s career center staff to create their own once they arrive. In addition to resumes, attendees can have professional headshots taken in the on-campus photography studio for their social media accounts, such as LinkedIn or Instagram.
