Inaugural Peter H. Cahalan Baseball Trip

CD Trips is proud to partner with the Peter H Cahalan Scholarship Fund for their Inaugural trip to Citi Field on Thursday, July 28th to see the New York Mets play Colorado Rockies. Let’s keep Peter’s memory alive by supporting this benefit trip through participation or sponsorships! The Peter H. Cahalan Scholarship Fund was established within the Community Foundation to grant scholarships for students attending a two or four year college in either the finance or sports fields of study along with their commitment to their community for any student in Sullivan County. Peter was a lifelong resident of Monticello and an avid sportsman since childhood. This was exhibited by his commitment to the residents of Sullivan County as a banker for 40 years, and to his volunteerism in many organizations such as an 11 year member of the Monticello Board of Education; BPOE #1544; K of C #550; Monticello Kiwanis. He was active in any and all sports including Golf leagues; bowling; softball; basketball; darts and hunting. The fund grants scholarships for students attending a two or four year college in either the finance or sports field of study along with their commitment to their community for ANY student in Sullivan County Schools.
