Culture Fest at HPAC to Celebrate 50 Years of Hip Hop
Hurleyville, NY – The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC) is proudly celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop with “Culture Fest: 50 Years of Hip Hop." This event, taking place on September 17, 2023 from 2pm-7pm at Fireman’s Park in Hurleyville, is a dynamic showcase of local talent, featuring electrifying dance performances, powerful spoken word, captivating artwork, and outstanding musical acts including Malik Bridges, Elliot C Noble, and Ice the God. Douglas Shindler and Michael Davis, co-program directors of The Black Library, an HPAC initiative in Monticello, NY, will also participate as artists. A full list of acts will be released in the week prior to the event. Join us in honoring the legacy of Hip Hop and celebrating 50 years of artistic innovation and cultural influence at HPAC.
