Bark In The Park
"Devoe-ted" To A Cure Scholarship Fund's 3rd Annual Event to raise funds in order to award graduating Sullivan County H.S. seniors with a $500 scholarship in their area of study (Veterinary Science OR Oncology). This event is in memory of Elizabeth "Jeannie" Devoe; a local animal activist, rescuer and dear friend to many. Bark In The Park is a fun-filled family day that focuses on man's best friend! Bring your dog to this event and participate in our FREE canine contests, FREE children's ice cream hour, huge tricky tray, vendors and more! Located on beautiful and calm park surroundings, we will also have pet adoptions, local shelters, veterinarians and staff on site to help answer questions about rescue animals and possibly help you find someone to give a "fur-ever" home to! This year we are bringing back our Chicken BBQ take-out dinners prepared by the W.S.S. Fire Department!
