ANTHROPOCENE Exhibit Opening
Safe Harbors Ann Street Gallery opens its first exhibition of 2018, ANTHROPOCENE with a reception on Saturday, February 24, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. This exhibition will explore the impact of a changing climate and its devastating effects on our environment, while acknowledging that humans are the major cause of the earth’s current transformation. The works featured are a creative response from artists of various disciplines, addressing issues related to climate change: flooding, tropical storms, droughts, desertification, vanishing species and human pollution. The Safe Harbors Ann Street Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery specializing in contemporary emerging and established artists.
