Come join us for a day of fun, self-expression, and creativity!
The Sullivan County Chapter of the NAACP proudly invites the community to our annual Juneteenth Festival BBQ, an uplifting and meaningful event honoring freedom, history, and progress.
Juneteenth is a time to celebrate Black creativity, resilience, and expression while reflecting on the journey from our past to our present and future. This celebration embraces culture, community, and the spirit of freedom, bringing people together to recognize the strength and contributions that continue to shape our shared story.
More than just an event, our Juneteenth Festival BBQ is an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. Join us as we uplift one another, celebrate our history, and build lasting bonds across Sullivan County. The day will feature live performances, local vendors, music, basketball clinics, face painting, an art and history exhibit, a bouncy house, raffles, and plenty of food and drinks with even more in store.
Come celebrate freedom, community, and togetherness with us. We look forward to seeing you there!

This is a free event open to the entire community. Guests can enjoy complimentary food, drinks, and a variety of activities throughout the day. Vendor participation is the only aspect that requires a fee.

This year’s Juneteenth Festival will take place on Friday, June 19th, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, outdoors at Hanofee Park, located at 129 Sunset Lake Rd, Liberty, NY 12754.
