The Sullivan County Historical Society invites you to its Annual Meeting and Dinner to be held on Sunday October 19 at 2:00 at Casa Mia Restaurant in Hurleyville NY. 

This year’s honorees are History Maker Aileen Gunther and History Preserver Carol Smythe. 

Aileen Gunther is being honored for the 20 years she served in the New York State Assembly District 100. Her district represented most of Sullivan County. 

Carol Smythe was a 28-year historian for the Town of Neversink. She was devoted to history and sharing her knowledge of it. She was also instrumental in the forming of the Time and the Valleys Museum in Grahamsville. l. 

The Annual Meeting and Dinner is also a fund raiser for the Sullivan County Historical Society. 

An added treat this year is our “Autumn Medley of Apple Delights” basket which will be raffled off at the dinner. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20. You may purchase tickets in advance (we will place it in the raffle for you) or at the dinner. The attachments include a letter telling of the honorees, form for placing an ad in the journal, reservation and menu choice form for the dinner, and a form to order raffle tickets by mail.
