A Historical Marker Dedication : Hon. Lawrence H. Cooke

Town of Thompson Historian Al Dumas would like to invite you to a historical marker dedication event next Tuesday, October 27th at 1:30 pm. 

The event is made possible by the Sullivan County Historical Society and the Sullivan County Bar Association. Al Dumas is also one of the Sullivan County Historical Society Directors. 

Al Dumas is proud to honor The Honorable Lawrence H. Cooke, Chief Judge of the State of New York from 1979-1984. 

The historical marker will be permanently installed at the former Cooke family home in Monticello. Meet at the Lawrence H. Cooke Sullivan County Courthouse in Monticello at 1:30 for refreshments, followed by the marker ceremony at the Cooke family home at 2:00.
