IN-PERSON Garden Class - Seed Starting:
Does your child love to play in the soil or have an interest in gardening? Then this amazing program is meant for you! We will utilize the Junior Master Gardeners Curriculum to help students learn all about gardening. We'll spend the first half of class studying the science behind how things work and then head over to the community garden for the second half.

In this class, students will learn what it takes to make a seed germinate and will handle various kinds of seeds to compare sizes, shapes and textures. Indoor and outdoor sewing will be discussed as well as how to know when to sow each kind of seed. We'll learn how plants develop and the best ways to get our garden started!!

This class is designed for children ages 7-11. Stay tuned for future classes with the potential toward certification.
**Safety protocols will be in place. Please bring a mask when social distancing is not an option**
**Class will be completely outdoors - please dress for the weather**

We will meet on Saturday, May 8th  at 1:00pm at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch. Register at www.WSPLonline.org
