Catholic Charities Helps Students Get Back to School With Generous Donation of Supplies from Drake Loeb Law
NEWBURGH, NY – Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster was the grateful beneficiary of a generous donation of hundreds of items of new school supplies and hygiene products from the New Windsor-based law firm of Drake Loeb PLLC Attorneys at Law. Catholic Charities has been distributing the donations to students in need through its Resource Exchange and Case Management programs located at 280 Broadway, Newburgh.
Drake Loeb Legal Assistant Elaine Vigorito coordinated the annual back-to-school drive and delivered the generous collection of supplies to Catholic Charities’ Newburgh office with the help of her colleague Nancy Acevedo.
“The good people at Drake Loeb Law have been long-time, generous supporters of Catholic Charities,” said Michael Peters, Resource Exchange Coordinator for Catholic Charities. “We are grateful for businesses like Drake Loeb who are good community partners and believe in the value of giving back to the communities in which they live and work. These new school supplies give students who might otherwise go without a greater chance for success at school.”
Catholic Charities hosts an annual Back-to-School supply drive in order to provide students and families in need with supplies to help a child achieve success in school. Donations of new backpacks and school supplies for all ages are collected on an ongoing basis at Catholic Charities office locations in Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties.
