Private- Housekeeper/Cook

A private estate in Liberty, NY is seeking a full-time position for a self-motivated Housekeeper/Cook who possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow through on all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Ability to follow simple recipes to prepare meals or snacks, and willing and able to take direction in the kitchen

· Regular and deep cleaning methods in all rooms of the estate to meet the owners’ requirements

· Serving guests during events or visits

· Complete detailed cleaning projects on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

· Laundry for the family, including washing, folding, and ironing general laundry, sheets, and table linens

· Answering doors and phones on occasion

· Any other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Skills/Competencies:

· Excellent organizational ability

· Ability to prioritize effectively

· Prior Housekeeping experience preferred

· Prior Cook experience preferred

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Trustworthy, principled, and friendly

· Ability to be a self-starter, and anticipate needs

· Must be dog friendly

· Responsible, timely, patient, and reliable

· Confidentiality and discretion at all times

· Must be able to work as a team
