Job Description:

· Answering phone calls.

· Greet visitors and members.

· Maintain accounts payable, member, personnel, Cemetery, Endowment, Building Fund and other files throughout the fiscal year.

· Take Requests for donations.

· Provide member lists.

· Help Executive Director if needed.

· Handle membership dues.

· Create, send out and bill invoices.

· Process payments with QuickBooks.

· Bank deposits

· Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts and maintain records.

· Maintain customer records in QuickBooks.

· Create 1099's annually for vendors.

· Perform all quarterly files.

· Annually create W-2 Forms.

· Payroll duties

· Assists cemetery committee with financial reporting and other cemetery business.

· Processing mail

· Adheres to best practices.

Job Requirements

· Associates degree or at least 2 years of experience

· Proficient with QuickBooks

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel

· Data entry skills

· Professionalism and organization skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Effective time management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

· Middletown, NY 10940: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)


· Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)

· QuickBooks: 2 years (Preferred)

· Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
