Mid-Hudson Valley Senior Soiree Expo at Mount Saint Mary’s on October 14

NEWBURGH, NY: It’s fun, it’s informative and it’s free! It’s the Mid-Hudson Valley Senior Soiree Expo being held on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mount Saint Mary’s College.

The event is presented by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Iota Alpha Omega Chapter in collaboration with The Desmond Center for Community Engagement and Wellness and the NAACP Newburgh / Highland Falls Health Committee.

Taking place at the college’s Aquinas Hall, 330 Powell Avenue in Newburgh, the Senior Soiree Expo will feature chair yoga, blood pressure screenings, bingo, dancing and light bites. Plus, there will be much needed information courtesy of the Alzheimer’s Association, AARP New York, the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the NAACP, Kappa Eta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc, Action Toward Independence and others.

Music will be provided by DJ Teewhy, and by the Gospel Singers: Sisters in Spirit of the Hudson Valley. And don’t forget the door prizes!
