Latinos are the fastest growing demographic in the US with over $1.3 trillion in purchasing power. 1 in 4 children is considered Latino/a and these numbers are set to grow in the upcoming decades as per Census estimates. However, culturally targeted advertisement and language accessibility still remain scarce in business. After serving the Spanish-speaking community for over 19 years in the Hudson Valley, La Voz magazine presents "Don't Overlook Latinos in Business," a presentation that seeks to showcase why organizations must act now in order to reach a demographic that, for many, remains an untapped market. This discussion invites everyone to rethink their marketing strategies if they are not currently targeting the Hispanic community in the Hudson Valley and at large.
