Monticello, NY - Please join the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the relocation of Independent Living, Inc. It has relocated its Monticello service center to 14 Pelton Street, East Wing in Monticello, NY.
A grand re-opening celebration is being held at the new location between 4:00 and 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th. The program will begin promptly at 4 p.m., with the formal ribbon cutting ceremony held at 5:00 p.m.
Members of the press and the public are cordially invited to attend, to learn about the services offered and meet staff and board members.
Independent Living, Inc. was founded in 1987 and has service centers in Newburgh, Middletown and Monticello. It is a consumer-directed, cross-disability advocacy and service organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons with disabilities. Its vision is a barrier-free society with opportunities for all individuals to achieve their maximum potential. Programs and resources offered by the agency provide needed support to individuals with all disabilities at every stage of life.
