Callicoon ArtWalk

The 4th annual Callicoon ArtWalk, Saturday, October 7th, 2017 is showcasing the vibrant local art community in the picturesque hamlet of Callicoon on the Delaware. More than 60 artists will present their work throughout the town. There will be live music on Main Street, nighttime outdoor video projections, and the first annual Callicoon ArtWalk Short Shorts Film Festival at the Callicoon Theater. And Art Making in the Park is expanding to include 10 two-hour workshops by local artists that will be free to the community (12:30-2:30pm and 3:00- 5:00pm). Thanks to a NY State grant we received through the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance* we are featuring these workshops for the whole family: Taking Great Photos with Your Mobile Phone, Landscape Paintings, Needle Felting Masks, Pottery Making, Watercolor Painting, Beginners Origami, Expressive Drawing, Felt Flower Making Craft, Personality Collage, and Wood Block Printing. Registration is suggested as there are limited spaces.
