Neighborhoods decline when the people who live there lose their connection and no longer feel part of their community. Recapturing that belonging and pride of place can be challenging, but there are organizations and resources available to help. Join us for a panel discussion about what is happening to revitalize neighborhoods in our area and how you can make a difference on your own block. Learn about neighborhood-based initiatives spearheaded by the Newburgh Land Bank and hear about what the Sullivan County Land Bank is currently working on. Sullivan Renaissance staff will also be introducing some new initiatives focused on beautification, block revitalization and community engagement in culturally diverse neighborhoods. Refreshments will be served.
